thanks...panic over

I have seen my electric windows cause this, but not with my brake lights.

My Mk1 used to do this even when from new.

Mine has done this from day one. It can also do it when stationary at traffic lights as it is noticeable when looking at the reg plate of the car in front and the brigntness can dip momentarily. (Does this make sense?)

Our golf Mk4 does exact same thing, so does my VRS its er electrical feature :P

On the wifes 1st Fabia, the headlights used to flicker on corners. Dealer traced it to power steering motor, changed motor --No more probs!!

exactly what i was going to post as this was my problem also!

cheers for doing it for me ;)

annoys me aswell as ive never had it so badly in other cars even when I have fitted some rather large stereos. one of the solutions for stereos causing the dimming of lights has always been the big three wires alt-bat bat-chassis and another one i cant remember!!!

If a serious dim, then points to an earthing issue somewhere on the car.
