Sorry,

I know that

a) been asked so many times before and

B) wrong place but

I need some tyres, and will probably be buying tomorrow. Backs have loads of trad so its just 2 fronts in the original 205 size.

Cant reach a decision on Toyo, F1's or Conti sport contact 2s. May even go for pirrelli (which were poop on my scoob so i had originaly ruled them out).

Help. Someone just tell me what to buy he he :D

I dont do track days, just normal motorway an b road stuff.

I don't think you'll go far wrong with any of those choices.

I'm running Conti's and i like them a lot, even more so after yesterdays Drive in what can only be called "mixed" weather :D

the final decision is yours but i bought a full set of eagle F1's and im happy with them, im sure others will have experiance of different tyres and comparisons where i havent, have fun making up your mind

Kenny,

How many miles have you done on the F1's?

Goodyears were always nice & grippy but tended to wear out quickly in my experience, but they may well be different now.

Could be tempted to buy a set for my other alloys ;)

only about 1500,got a full set of 225/45 for around

I've got Conti's too, seem pretty good to me.

Buy one of each :)

And still you post it in the wrong place... Sorry if I'm pedantic, but you do know better.

sorry. Id already typed it all in when I realised.

Have now tried Pirelli PZero Rossos and Goodyear F1 GSD3s........

.....would say grip is about the same in the dry....Rossos are good in the wet, haven't had a chance of trying the F1s yet in winter conditions...Rossos quieter....F1 a little more compliant/comfortable.....mpg about the same.

F1s cheaper by around

Whilst on a quest to see how much tyres would be when I got around to it, I managed to convince myself that one of the Bridgestone Turanza range would be my next choice for comfort, grip and low noise (i.e. normal driving) - yet every tyre post I see never mentions any Bridgies ... are they, in reality, crap?

Could be tempted to buy a set for my other alloys ;)

No one likes a smart **** Geoff  ...BTW how much were your Conti's ......I seem to have forgotten :D

Anyway back on topic ....IMHO the Pirelli P Zero Rosso's , that I have on now are far superior to the Dunlop's the car originally came with .

In future Paul , please post in the correct area of the forum ...........have you seen the size of Q .................... ;):D

The Contis Pete?

Ummm....i've forgotten...

Let me think..

Ahh yes, 4 for
