hi all as you may well know i have a 1.3mpi in my felly and am wondering how much work would be involved in fitting a 1.6 to her ? and would it makes much difference power wise? thanks in advance tom

it's dead easy if you have all the bits, not worth it though seeing as you can buy one for like £250

Different wiring loom and engine mounts, gearbox still usable but minor mods required. IMHO not worth it , for an extra for an extra 8bhp , in standard form. Better to play about with the 1.3, you should be able to get a usable 90 to 100 bhp out of it

you dont need any mods to the gearbox at all, it's a direct swap.... my 1600 has got a 1300 gearbox.
