Back off hols and this has happened.....

Featured Replies

Right well in my world this is an emergency as I've come back from holiday and as whilst on holiday my Mum has had no use of a car 'cos it's a fishing trip and the old man's driving so being as she's on my insurance as 2nd driver I leave her the keys. I get back and the first thing she says is "I'm sorry i'll buy you a new one!" "New one what?" is what I was thinking.

Turns out my NS Front alloy has had a little scrape!!! Now I was fuming!! One week with my car and she's done more damage to it than I have in nearly 4 months!

So can anyone recommend me a "good" alloy refurb company around Sheffield as I don't want to take the p*$$ and actually take her up on the offer of a new alloy as I know accidents do happen.

Thanks in advance to all. I'm now going to go off and sulk:(

god! your mums nice! mum mum just says oh its only a scratch! she borrowed my car and just becaus eit had roof rails she tied wood to the roof! without putting something across the bars!!

of its only a scratch or two! lol. and whilst having it, she used the boot to cart pallets into a field, scuffing my rear bumper and interior boot trim!! GRR!

but i managed to tidy it up myself i just wish she'd pay a bit more respect to my car!

its not as if i'd go and kick her horses!

Cheers Bigw i'll give 'em a try.

L-Y-K: Know what you mean mate when you treat your car so well then someone else just doesn't give a crap!! She does though so i'm not in as much trouble as you. lol. One problem you may have is that horses can kick back!! Have fun.

Disclaimer: I am in no way insinuating people should hurt animals. I like horses. Especially if Ornella wins the 5:00 @ Brighton today!! lol.

13/8 fav...........if it don't walk it it deserves to end up in a tin......:D

Awww bless her. Dont be so harsh on her haha. How bad is the scratch? pics?

What about one from a breakers/e-bay as a new one is about £100 so if a refurb is £80 you might get a second hand mint one for under £50.
