Good Afternoon, I would like to ask for advice if thats ok! I have an octavia tdi vrs . BMN Engine. I am about to service he car and have just purchased oil & other parts for it yesterday. I wanted long life 5w-30 fully synthetic.

I as duely provided with it BUT the brand name is "AC DELCO". :confused:I never heard of them. I looked their website and they don'y provide much info about ANY of their products.

Does any1 have any experience with this brand . It was dear too @ €60.00 for the oil alone!!!

Just make sure it meets the relevant standards for VW approved oil as laid out in your service manual.

I have heard of AC Delco before, many times, although not recently.

I purchased a litre of oil for my vRS TDI for £7.30 from a a Seat dealer, well actually I bought 3, it seemed cheap.

AC Delco dates back a long time.Have been around for years.They use to do parts for Vauxhalls.
