Well, the day I have the courage to take the mongrel through there at 120 will be a happy day. As it stands I don't think I a) have the courage to do it, have the skill to do it, and c) too **** scared to stack my car at that kind of speed.

Plus, it's always offputting have a 911 bearing down on you going through there.

Steve's octy 2 vRS is also capable of 140 through there, but like me, his eagerness not to stack it (etc) meant it was probably more like 100 like me.

Curious what speed James Cameron took his octy through there at, as I know 100% it was a lot faster than Steve had ever done it....

If I win the lottery I'm gonna be buying a little house, with a big garage (fully stocked ) right next to the track. Probably a helipad in the back garden so I can there super fast.

I think the most I managed was 135 on the Flugplatz and about 135 on the Dottinger Hohe straight... I had proper track insurance (not cheap) but after watching the marshalls try and bill a Scottish biker for 400 euros for a section of Armco he'd hit on Saturday morning (after sliding on someone elses spilt coolant) I really didn't want to push my luck
