Just like to introduce myself.

I'm a 49 year old man who works as an Operations Manager and buying my first Skoda since 1988 when I drove a Rapid.

I'm looking at buying a 2003 Superb TDI 130 Comfort. The car has 75000 miles on the clock with a full service history and the cambelt changed under 500 miles ago.

I cover 35000 miles plus a year and wonder is there any problems I need to be aware of with high mileage Superbs.

It will be replacing a 1998 very high mileage Subaru Forester. Brilliant car but with petrol at its current price, very expensive to run at 33 mpg.

I look forward to contributing and reading the forums.
