Evening All!

Having just had the pleasure of replacing my ignition barrel 250miles from home.. I am now left with the transponder issue!

new barrel & key (from main dealer) fitted, but left with having to pull the transponder ring off the barrel leaving it exposed and insert the old key in itto it along with the new one in the barrel to start it..

Is this a main dealer only option to fix it properly?:confused:

is that on the 'tag' of the old spare key I guess? That's 250 miles away!! Bugger!!!

Why dont you just take the transponder out of the old key and put it in the new key?

Doh..... sounds a damn fine plan.. I'll give it a go.. Now why didn't think of that!!
