ive just got a vrs thats been remapped to supposedly 180bhp...done 50 mile on fri on motorway at 80 all way and was showing 72mpg...amazed.

Is this 72mpg with the use of cruise? I did a 1 hour journey with the cruise set to 70mph (honestly!) and only got 55mpg. I was quite impressed but I'd much prefer 72mpg!

Does CC hurt economy?

Yep it’s the car from piston heads. It was a lot better priced than the dealer one I drove. This will have brand new tires fitted (cont' sports) when I pick it up as well as 4 months Skoda warranty remaining. That’s good in my book.

I'll do some extensive reading on my lunch so I don't keep asking all the usual questions.

I thought so... is it one of those along the main road opposite the Royal Liverpool Golf Club? It looked familiar as I drive along that road every morning... I live in Oxton, but I teach at West Kirby Grammar.
