Ive been pricing up some new tyres.

I'm going to go for toyo proxes 4's

The cheapest site ive found has to be tyresite.com but whats the difference between the rf (does that mean run flat) and non rf at a tenner more? :confused:

I rang them

RF = Reinforced

god knows why reinforced are a tenner cheaper?

any thoughts?

There is a full list on their site of Tyre Abreviations:

XL = Extra Load

RF = Re-inforced

DM = Dis-mount

RFT = Run flat tyre

EMT = Extended mobility technology

ROF = Run on flat

DSST = Dunlop self supporting technology

SSR = Self supporting runflat

[2] = 20% Off-road use

[4] = 40% Off-road use

[6] = 60% Off-road use

OWL = Outline white lettering

WL = White lettering

TL = Tubeless
