Jvc head unit probs

Featured Replies

Hi all..

I own a JVC DVD head unit, the one with the screen in the unit.

My problem is that every so often the screen will go funny,as if it has got tv static on, or the screen will go off completley......

any one else had this prob

thanx

Indeed, on my old JVC unit I had the same thing.

My solution was take the front panel off, get a key/knife/strong flat metal thing. Take metal object and squeeze behind the metal plate that the front panel connects to. This brings the connectors out further without damaging the unit. Obviously, you only apply very slight pressure to bend it out.

DISCLAIMER: This worked for me. If you pull it out to far and completely bugger your unit it's not my fault. Anyhoo, I'm sure with the general idea kicking about someone will come up with a far more safe solution that doesn't involve a large degree of bodging.
