its easy to kerb with either on tbh,the trick is don't scrub the kerbs,if you do its going toscuff unfortunatly

wont matter about the size of wheel, but it will with the width.

also depends on the tyre, i've got a yokohama 205/45 R16 on one 8" wide and it just protects my rim where as i have a michelin pilot premacy (same 205/45 R16) on the other one and my red rim suffers from stone chips because its doesnt have as big a protector on the sidewall.

the 215 will sit wider but if its only a 6" wide wheel the 205 will be more than enough.

I have 215/40R17's on mine, and they dont really cover the rim. Better than the 205's would have though. If you need, ill get a pic up later

Federal have large rim protectors on the 595 IIRC

Can't comment on the Fabia, but in the past I put Toyo Proxes TR1's on my MGF and the profile of the tyre was wider than the alloys on purpose for this reason.

They're pretty cheap and were a very grippy tyre, but I'd warn that they also wear down quite quickly with 'spirited' driving.

215 is better than 205, but neither will stop a determined rim scrape. 215s give slightly better cover for those times when you need to gently hop up a high kerb forwards.
