the pics don't do these wheels any justice, you really need to see an octy with rs6 on in the metal, they look fantastic

heres a pic of an octy with rs-4 rims on i seen a couple of weeks ago

not 100% sure John, when the wheels turned up we got it jacked up and fired them straight on so i didn't look, i'ii find out though.

the centre caps have the skoda logo on them the company that supplied us kindly got them made up for us

and yeah that pic was from kames a couple of weeks ago, i even managed to win my first show and shine down there with my golf that day

now thats what i call some tasty alloys.how much and where do i get em from?what size tyre .any how here's a silly question my octy has 205/50r17s ive seen some messages where they have changed em to 225/45/17s or might be 215/45/17s how the hell do you get 10/20mm extra width in a standard wheel and dosent the top end speed suffer? answers on a postcard please .as you see im new at this game.

the tyres fitted are 225/40X18, i'ii pm you the price.

as for top end speed, don't know never been there.

For info, I was down at Wheel Base near Oldham today (www.wheelbasedirect.co.uk) and they were doing four 18" RS6 replicas with 225/40 Kumhos for

the reason the 225 45/R17's dont affect the speedo is because there is only something like 1-2% difference in the total rolling raduis of the wheel to the standard wheel and tyre.

the 45 is basically 45% of the 225
