A while back we had one or two small Glos are meets, so this thread is a feeler for a slightly larger audience.

Previous format has been a meeting point for a bit of a natter, then a drive out to pub for some food & drink and more nattering

Let me know your thoughts on

A Sunday eve would be good for me or else a small monster friendly place if Sat afternoon.

There is The Swan which is about a minute off Junction 7 of the M5 - although saying that I only been there for functions upstairs so havent greatly explored the pub.

I'll keep an eye on this, although as it's out of my area I can't offer any advice on where to go etc.

Good pub, decent food and ale, and a skittle alley if anyones up for a bit of local competition (although you'll prolly have to book that first, as I think it may be used as eating area at weekends.)

It does get busy on Sunday lunchtimes though.

Fairly easy to get to (Off M5 @ J9, follow A46 to Teddington Hands roundabout, right onto A435, after about 2 1/2 miles signposted on left just before BP garage on right)

like apd its out of my area, but if its close enough to the oxon border and it fits in with minitext etc i will be more than up for it

31st is e38 wk end so depending on time i will be coming back so can pop in for a meet and evesham is local for me?think i cud do the following sun nite as well as off most sundays?maybe a pub next to the motorway wud be more accesible for every one maybe the brewers fayre one of junction 9 twekesbury roundabout or the three pears junction 6?

You get off at junction 9 and its about 2 minutes off the motorway. Think its 2nd exit if i remember correctly off roundabout comin from North, then you'll drive past it on your right. Come to a set if traffic lights and turn right and then the entrance to the car park is the first right turn after the lights. Really easy to find.

Coming in at about a 40 mile blat down the motorway if it's the 31st of August then I should be able to make it.
