Leon FR TFSI to Octavia VRS CR TDI

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I currently have a Leon FR TFSI and am looking to change to the CR VRS.

I have looked around on the site and it seems to be getting rave reviews.

Is the DSG box worth it and what MPG should I expect?

Has anyone got any good pics of the race blue one? Is it susceptible to scratches/chips as my old leon in dark grey was terrible for it!

Need to decide in next 2 weeks so any help appreciated!!!

Many thanks

James

It's smoother, still not as smooth as the TFSI though!

It should ride better than the Leon too.

I had an extended test drive in the FR Tdi and decided that the difference in price was down to the Leon having no suspension. The vRS isn't a Citroen or Jaguar in the ride department, but I'm sure your back will welcome the change

having had two metallic grey cars before my race blue vRS, the paint hides scratches and marks soo much better and doesnt look instantly filthy either

here is my race blue

had my vrs dsg a couple of weeks now, and can't stop smiling..great fun in manual, but if the traffic gets busy, just pop it into auto..can't really advise about mpg, too new, but my trip is running about 42mpg, but as i say, too new, and not enough miles to get a real idea..as for the extra cost, well worth it, 3 gearboxes in 1..manual, auto and sport..you don't get that in many cars !!

I moved from a Leon 130 TDI SE to a VRS TDI. Really good move. Much better car.
