I was told by a so called "expert" that VRS are OK with an after market dump valve as long as it's a re-circulating air type not a piston "PPPSSsssssssshhhhh" one as they drive funny with one. My brother the Skoda nutter confirms this fact is true about £100 Baileys will do it and easy to fit - but why spend money when the standard dump valve is good that's my argument, save that £100

I had one and had to have it changed 3 times as it was prone to sticking....

APR R1 is a diaphragm valve and is supposed to be a lot more reliable.
