i noticed today when giving the car a quick wash (and last week) by washing the car in cold water it actually looks cleaner and the water seems to bead better than warm/hot water.

so my question is do you wash the car in cold or hot water or just hot when stripping down the wax.

cold to luke warm otherwise my hand gets to numb

Same here, i also rinse off before and after with the Karcher.

I use cold now as I have sheepskin mitt which keeps my hand nice and warm anyway!!!
