Soon to be VRS owner

Featured Replies

:) Just about to take delivery of my first Skoda, a Fabia vrs, in black.

Still got 6months of the 3yr warranty left (Feb 06 reg) and only 15,000 on the clock.

Not looking to mod or anything ... yet.

Just wondering if anyone has any general advice about care, precautions, tips.

Wasn't really looking to buy new car, but after the test drive I just had to have it.

Replacing a Polo 1.2(65bhp)

welcome to briskoda

Welcome :)

welcome...

advice: if you have a bit of warrenty left before the three years is up, take it in for a checkup (things like control arm bushes) and see if you can get them replaced on warrenty before the MOT is due..... (If you do the MOT at the garage doing the warrenty work, and book them in together, then you are more likley to get MOT work done on warrenty ;) )

I would suggest checking the rear door seals if you have not already, as these are prone to leak and dampness sets in.
