coil pack 2.0 GLXi

Featured Replies

I've got a 2.0 ltr GLXi Octy estate, struggles to start, turn it off and fire it up again and it runs ok. Last night it started misfiring - got a friend to put his diagnostics on it and we detected misfires in 1,3 and 4 intermittently. If we cleared the codes and started it up again it wouldn't misfire for ages at times, and then it would do it almost constantly. My mechanic friend suggested that the coil pack needs repalcing as the other readings on the diagnistic seemed reasonable. Can anyone confirm if the coil pack for this model is a single unit serving all 4 cylinders or are they individual. I am under the impression it is one unit??? :)

They are individual and cost around £25 each latest revision is R I believe

Thanks for your help - however, i've just popped down to a local Skoda authorised repair centre to order them up and my chassis number told them that it is just one coil pack not individual ones. We had a look under the bonnet and they pointed out to me that it is just one pack. £39.75 when it comes in, I hope i can fit it and i hope it works!! :)
