Thought I'd mention it here - my local Sainsburys (Cheltenham) are knocking out the Ring power inverters at half price at the moment (£15)

It's can shaped and that, compared with the length of lead, makes them a perfect fit in the Octavia.

They look right handy, perfect fit.

I'm off to the Sainsbury's site to have a butchers. :thumbup:

If I need a bunch of bananas, this is the place.:(

Another scearch reveils £37.99 from a shop in North London!

What wattage are they rated for? I have a maplin unit that comes with both a fag lighter plug and crock-clip leads for a direct battery connection. I found that running mine in the from the boot fag socket that it struggled a bit more - guess the current demands with a bit higher than the guage of cable used to supply the boot.

150W, it's got a USB socket as well.

Looks to be a bit of a bugger if you need to use the arm rest.

I've got one from Argos mounted in the boot;

Runs off the power socket in the boot at the moment but intend to run some cables direct to the battery soon.
