Need some help with some wheels!

Featured Replies

Does anybody know if the corniche zwinger fits a skoda fabia 2001 100 hk? Andf what is the best size for wheels like this if I am going to be able to use my car in usual situations, and not just show it off in car shows? Is 18" too much?

Corniche Wheels - Zwinger

You could just about fit the 18"s on, but most people stop at 17" otherwise the tyres are VERY thin and make the ride very bad. Both 17" and 18" are available with the necessary PCD of 5x100, so as long as the offset is between 35 and 42 (it probably is), then you could use either...

I wonder how many people who comment the ride is very bad on 18" wheels has actually driven a Fabia on 18's???

You're right, I've not been in a Fabia on 18" wheels (or any car with 35-profile tyres for that matter), however I can't imagine tyres this thin are going to do much to soak up the ripples from the road surface that the suspension's too stiff to deal with:

those wheels look interesting.

18's will be fine for both road and show use.

i had 18's with a 35 profile on my octy and the ride was fine, even with the lack of suspension :D

I had a MK4 Astra with 8x18" wheels and 215/35 18 tyres and the ride was perfectly fine at the right pressures.

I take it all back, then. OP: go for 18" if you want to!

IMO 17" look better on a fabia than 18" (most of the time).

18" looks that bit too big for me...

But saying that, I have seen some which have REALLY nice 18" and look awesome.

Think it depends what rims you go for will depend how they look.?

But yes they will fit.

The wheels look nice.

I'd personally go for 17's, with a nice drop in ride height.
