Opinions about 1.4TDI 75bhp and 70bhp & 80bhp

Featured Replies

Dear Friends, would you please give your opinions about 75bhp against 70bhp&80bhp?according to records 75bhp is seems more productive against 70bhp&80bhp,in that case, why Skoda stop to product 75 bhp since 2005,

By productive, you mean 'economical' (miles per gallon / litres per 100km?) That, my friend, is a very good question. All I know is that the 80bhp 1.4 is in the Fabia II... :ne_nau:

by productive, i meaned that maximum power with the minimum diesel,

and long life engine(maximum kms)

and as know that also the 70bhp is in the Fabia II. isn't it?

From what I can see the 75 came earlier but was then replaced with the choice of 70 or 80, and and this seemed to happen sometime around 2005 - all three engines being available in Fabia1 in various trim options at various times during the model's lifespan.

All give good economy and ok performance for their capacity.

HTH matey.
