Hi All,

Any idea at what interval the spark plugs need to get changed - I m getting the car done today and so far I have:

1) oil filter

2) oil

3) break fluid

4) cabin filter

5) pollen filter

6) fuel filter

The car has done 40K

The acceleration on the car is not great so any ideas really appreciated

I'm guessing that item "4" should read (engine) air filter as the pollen filter is the cabin filter. Could be that if you are new to this car that changing the spark plugs would complete this service. Remember to use "good" plugs like NGK ! What age/engine does it have as maybe you should start thinking about the cambelt as well.

Edit, ah it looks like you have the 1.4MPI so I suppose that means that it does not have a cambelt.

How much time (labour wise) would you expect replacing spark plus would take out of interest ?
