hand brake button rattling

hi all,

i have a problem with the handbrake button on my mkI octavia rs. when the handbrake is down the button rattles, does anyone have the same problem? more important does anyone know how to cure this?

There is a cure that works, it's a bit of a botch but it does the trick.
