Right Guys and Gals,

I am wanting to improve the performance of my standard octavia vrs, I feel that at present the brakes are fine having just replaced all the discs and fitted fast road pads so we can leave the brakes out of the equation.

I am wanting to stop tha car wallowing about as much and make it go quicker, I really do not want to harm the MPG at a steady speed ( although I appreciate you dont get out for nout! ) due to my 500 mile per week comute!

I have a budget of arround £1000 and am fairly handy with spanners so fitting costs do not need to be taken into concideration!

I look forward to your opinions on my options.

Thanks in advance

Who did you both go to for the remaps? Reading in to it Jabba seem to be favourable?

Whos coilover kits are you both running?

Tom

KW3 coilovers together with a Neuspeed 28mm rear arb will transform the handling of the car.

Just stick with one of the well known mappers such as Impossible etc and you will not go wrong, but stay away from the really cheap ones from e-bay etc, as they cause more trouble than good.

Loads of posts on here regarding mapping where you will find opinions, both good and bad on the mappers, also there you will find all about coilovers and arb's just click on the search button.
