Would you consider a wheel swap bud as the deal fell through

:):):):)

Hush up sparky, ain't you got some plugs to fit or summat?

currently 2 1/2 days into an office refit at work with a day left :) not bad for day rate over time :D

Dont know wether to go for coilys or just dampers and springs?

Only going 35mm really, due to the great road surface...(being sarky by the way).

What do you think. Its either Koni Sport Suspension Kit from Awsome (£467ish).

Or FK Konig-Sport Coilover Kit from EuroPerformance (£597).

Both are onboard dampening adjustable, which is a must for me.

Hummm. Anyone got any other ideas?

Dave

What about the KW kit, comes in at £360 IIRC

Jesus...

this whole 'watch your sump' thing is a load of crap, i haven't had any issues with mine although i have hit the ground with the crossmember! the big plastic tray underneath the car can be removed.

i'm getting mine raised soon as its now just too low for driving, so hopefully will still look nice but drive without rubbing.

this whole "watch your sump" thing isn't a load of crap on an octavia, many of us have smashed them. being careful is normally sensible.

Hat off to ya Jas mate. Looks good, i likey but i dont think i'd go that low (country roads n all that lol) but it does look mean.

my octavia was as low as any other around and i never had any sump issues.

beside the point, this is the fabia forum so i was actually aiming my comments towards that model, having possibly the lowest car on this forum i do think i can speak from experience aswell.

Doh, youve gon and got your keys stuck!!!

now that your front springs should have settled in, hows the car sitting?

do you still have your drip tray on?

i know your coils are wound right down and i need to lift my front end up a little, was thinking of just putting back in the helper springs as they seem to be the only difference between mine and yours.

Sits ace, much the same as it was to begin with id say.

Front still has the adjusters in and its fine. Drip tray still on and i don't foresee any problems with it being on. Splitter is not an issue either

As they say "you aint bargain bin v-dubbin, if it aint scrubbin"

I think it's slightly too low. The wheels look a tad too small. strange really as standard the wheels look better IMO. Looks very nice other than that.

Wish I could get mine that clean
