After several weeks of enjoying the vRS it has today developed a rattle from the engine bay :(. Looking down at the drivers side of the engine, there looks like a lose part on the fanbelt assembley. The component with the rusted pin looks like it has come out of a hole in the inside casing, and moved round. Can any one else with a Tfsi confirm this looks right or wrong?

Not sure about the bit you have mentioned but my brackets for the engine cover mounts on the front facing side went a bit loose. The bolt is a b*****d to get into to tighten, but that stopped my engine bay rattle.
