problem with indicators and Sat Nav

Featured Replies

I have just noticed that occasionally when I put my Right Indicator on and then allow the wheel to turn and cancel it - the LEFT indicator arrow in the dash flashes once after cancellation. This does not happen every time. Any ideas please? before I take it to Dealer for it's annual service and check up before warranty expires in November. Also whrn first switching SAT NAV unit on I am now getting "nicht activ" in the display very much more often This used to hapen perhaps once a month but now it happens two or three times per WEEK. I admit that switching the unit off and then back on again clears it - but this should not be necessary surely - again any ideas please?

Regards

John

I think the indicators is just normal however you should have the Sat Nav looked at.

Looks like a trip to see Sherlodge.

I had the same with my mk1 octavia indicators, not a problem.

My indicators have done this on my current Superb, and the previous two, I think it is something to do with the stalk switch clicking up a fraction and making the other sides indicator flash - nothing to worry about i guess.

As for your sat nav, I have witnessed this many times, always sorts itself out, i did register it with the dealer, but 'they couldnt find anything wrong' but it's prob best to notify them of both incidences.

Also whrn first switching SAT NAV unit on I am now getting "nicht activ" in the display very much more often...

I think the "nicht activ" thing has been discussed a few times now on the DX unit.

Try searching for it, or browse the other threads in here about sat nav, there was a case of this recently - I think you just have to change a setting or something.
