Hi Guys,

Noticed the last few days that the black is peeling off around the edges of the central locking button on my vRS (down beside the handbrake). It just seems to be a black plastic stuck over a white button. Has anyone else had this problem?

Can anyone tell me if the button top is available to buy from a dealer or do i need to replace the whole switch? And if so is it difficult to change?

Please, take a look at this post. I think that both(most) buttons have the same constuction.

The central locking button on my 07 plate VRS stopped opening the doors so had to have the dealer change it under warranty (less than 12 months old). I have only noticed the paint on the gear knob (gear shift pattern) that the silver is starting to wear away due to my wedding ring.
