£87 to change a gallon of oil is hardly excellent service but is cheaper than most cars,

they collected car lent me new octavia scout first time had to use main dealer .

All that matters is that your happy and it is cheap by any standard. Did I miss it if so what location for the garage?

Paid £76 for mine four weeks ago in Newcastle.

:)simpsons Great Yarmouth, nice to see some one has done better.Been excellent so far, no problems with car as yet. Did say some rattles on poor road surface . pushed seat belt adjusters to bottom of sliders not rattling now. does this count as a fault ?

Just booked my wife's 1.2 petrol Fabia 2 in for its first service this week and was quoted £180! It is a main dealer so I'm at a loss to explain why the price should vary so much. Any ideas?

I was more than happy with the excellent service from ALS Lock, Ely back in May. And total cost was £144 ( i remember that becuase it's the same as the torque figure for the engine, random i know). Seems a fair bit more than others in this thread but still less than the average car, and the whole process was hassle free, friendly and faultless, much like the car itself.
