Dirty weekend...with clothes on!

Featured Replies

:D I can't put into words how much fun my wife [Paula] and I had in the Bugrat on Bank Holiday Monday. I'm so impressed at it's ability off road, obviously not as competent as a proper 4x4, but it went most of the places they did, and because it's so small and agile, plenty of places they couldn't!

In typical Skoda style, it didn't miss a beat. We drove to Thetford, spent most of the day covered in mud, and then drove it back home to Cambridge.

There was a time when I regretted making the Bugrat, I certainly don't any more.

Looks like a good day out Dave :)

PMSL, I recognise those seats....

DAAAAAAAAAAAAVE! Where have you been mate? Very VERY nice pictures! Im Jealous!

Excellent - that looks great fun.

Out of interest, did you get out of that last position under your own steam, or did you have to be towed out?

Certainly looks like a real hoot!!!

That looks briliant fun

Is it four wheel drive?

:)Apart from exhaust, carb, shortened gear linkage and modified pedals, mechanicals are bog standard Rapid 136.

Looks fantastic, was it built from a kit or did you scratch build it?

Reminds me of a story I once heard about a Range Rover stuck in a boggy field, and a Suzuki "turnover" driving round it pointing and laughing!

Hehe ... loving the fact the taxi sign is still on there Dave.

Did the others know you were turning up in the Bugrat?

And how many are thinking of changing to one (or something similar)?
