Advice people, anyone ever had problems with the light on the dash saying the boot is open while you are driving? I think its causing my alarm to go off randomly also.

Where is the sensor, and is it easily replaceable?

On the octavia, there in the mech that locks onto the latch.

Would think there same on the fabia

Just wondering if you got to the bottom of your problem. Same is happening with my vrs and the dealers are charging 80 quid for a diagnostic!!
