Ah!!! Summers in the meadow. Not long now to wait till summer now :)

I've got a corrida red Fabia too! I'ts not the metallic type but red. I try to post picture later.

KTP mate I like your colour coded grille it suits very well the car! And besides I think the Fabia looks good in red! I might be biased a tiny bit though.;-):-P

Okay I don't have a VRS, but it's Red. I fitted 15" VW Golf alloys to it, and in the coldness of today, I gave it a wash :) Unfortunately most of my mods are internal/electrical.

Shame about that spoiler :(

Other than that though it looks bloody clean!

When I first bought the car I didn't like it, but at time went by it kinda grew on me. When I stripped the bootlid down to get the holes for the badge filled in etc, I took the spoiler off and it kinda looked wrong without it so I decided to keep it! lol. Plus to do a tidy job of getting rid of it would have meant replacing the bootlid, cos i'm fussy!! lol.

Still I'm jealous, I'd love a red vRS :P

Best colour imho :D:thumbup:

Woo Hoo just bought a red Fabia VRS!! Prefer the silver if given the choice but got a good deal i think.... '04 plate, 28,000miles, 6 months tax and full service + cambelt change for £5,800. Pick it up next week, can't wait! Couldn't believe it went on holiday for four days and 4 of the possible 7 I was looking at had gone! Sellling like hot cakes at the moment!

Now then I've seen quite a few cars with a small black underskirt under the front bumper, where would i get one of these from? how much do they cost and are they easy enough to fit for a novice?

Cheers

This is mine, nice and clean :D Might have to look into those black fog light surrounds.

Thats a bargain mate! mine was same spec but without the cambelt (amazed it was changed do early buy the seller!) and 38k and was £6000

the splitter is a standard SEAT part from the old shape Leon Cupra - available from any dealer - guide to fitting here:

Here's mine. This is how i made it to my taste and at the moment planning some changes on it...;)

Here's my little red beastie, I'll be sad to see it go as its been a great four years but it'll be up for sale next month...:weeping:

Cheers guys, think the splitter does make it look a bit meaner. Do you guys notice any difference performance wise or is it purely aesthetic? Also my main bug bear with the red fabia is the black plastic door protector strip - makes the VRS look a bit pedestrian and granny style. Do you guys just spray them or remove them completely - its a bit hard to tell from the photos? If so can anyone remember what the best paint to use for this is?

Cheers

easiest way is to remove them completely, just heat them up and pull off. the are just held on with double sided tape.

Thanks man. Think the old man has a hot air gun but slightly worried i might over do it and bubble the paint!! I take it is doesn't need to be that hot - just to soften the adhesive a bit. Might have a crack this weekend.

Here's my red :)
