Well spotted - never thought of it being a scam.It is a bit suss when you come to think about it, unless he is the owner and has just been letting the museum use it for display purposes???

It's being advertised as available in Vienna, Austria.

As for "new seller with 0 feedback", clearly Andy made his first fleabay sale with several hundred transactions and 100% positive! Every seller on fleabay was in that position some time or another!

Yeah - just after I got off the banana boat

I'm almost certain this is a big con.Click on this link, Home page - Skoda 100r Restoration Project, look on the links page and on the rhs of the photos of the museum is the exact same picture!

If the car is actually in Vienna as claimed, the question is why the illustration is from the Skoda museum.

Exactly:thumbup: I've emailed the seller to arrange a viewing, but no replies.

Think I will ask if I should book a flight to Vienna or Mlada Boleslav to see the car:D.

If it was genuine you'd expect a longer description and to be open to all viewings. My German isn't good enough to ask any questions :D

I got a reply from the seller that he just used a piccy of the car in the museum, as his is having the engine rebuilt.Thing is, the VOS didn't come out until 1950 I found out whilst scouring t'internet for info........????

I'd say that's a legit reason for not having a current pic. Even if the engine comes out without removing panels from the front end, that would majorly affect the car's sit.

The age suggests either a prototype of something hookey though. I'd be reluctant to rule the prototype in or out without knowing a lot more than I do about the model.
