hello

PMW motorsport are in Co Down N Ireland we have been rallying skodas from 1992, we started with 2 estelle rally cars which we used one of in the 1994 circuit of ireland I retired from the rally with alternator problems on the lasts day when leading the class. We sold the 2 estelles and built a favorit in 1995 and used it up to 2001. We had a go at the COI again in 1998 and won the class. In 2001 we where offered a 95 felicia so we built it for rallying and built a new favorit for road rallys. We used the 1300 engine in the felicia up to 2006 in that year we where 2nd in class in the NI clubmans rally championship and then we fitted a standard 1400 polo engine which we run gr N, we won the class in the championship in 2007. I hope the members of the forum can tell me where I can get a 4 branch exhaust system and can the brain be remapped and who would be able to do this.

Thank You

Mal

4 branch for 1400 8v or 1600 8v skoda

what's the engine code? some of the 1400 engines have a different bolt pattern for the exhaust manifold to the 1600

thank you teflon tom for your reply.I do not now the engine code ? but I can get it this week . We are all so thing of fiting a 1600 8V and going to put on R6 carbs. race cams and big head. The carbs is the only thing that we need info on because we never done this befor we are looking to get around 120 + hp. The car goes good but needs more power

welcome along to briskoda:thumbup:

if you are going to run on carbs, you might be better off swopping the in-tank fuel pump for low pressure one from a carb model favorit. the only thing i would worry a lot about is the angle at which the carbs are fitted, the keihlin motorcycle carbs can get quite sensitive to changes in angle because the float chamber overflows etc.

good luck
