Fabia vRS meets Ford focus TDDI and Hizzy Tribute

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I was down at the weekend in Hawick in the Scottish Borders visiting Skodagir1985's friend for her birthday party when I met up with my mate (who also knows Skodagirl's friend from school).

I used to own a focus before the Fabia and I met my mate through the Ford Focus Owners club.

My mates focus is a 1999 Ford Focus Zetec 1.8 tddi on a v plate, but this is the incredible thing the car has covered 195000 miles and has led a hard life before it was modifed. It is now a weekend show car.

We went on a wee drive in the borders today in the wet and got a few snaps.

While we were in Hawick, we managed to get caught up in the Steve Hislop memorial bike run, so we thought it rude not to go over and pay our respects to the TT rider.

My favourite bike of the day.

Don't underestimate the power of the focus, it is being taken off the road at the end of the year and getting a full respray and a few other things to do to it.

It's showing it's age in a few places but as said it has lived a hard life but I don't think the pics do it justice.

Just another couple of photo's that my mate took with his camera of my car.

These pics are quite smart with the rain beaded up on the badges and grille.
