My horn is broken.

Featured Replies

Actually its been broken for quite a few months now. :o

The dealer originally spotted it when they changed the cruise control stalk. Since then they have tried a few things which included replacing the relay today which didn't fix it.

So as they had my car in bits they put me in someones demonstrator while they wait for the next bits, a slip ring which lives inside the steering wheel and a steering wheel controller. Oh joy.

On the plus side the car they have given me is a 1.8TSI Sport no less and I have to say I am quite pleasantly surprised. It is quite nippy and handles well but seems to like a drop of unleaded, or is that my right foot.;)

It'll not be your foot but more the amount of pressure a man of your stature is able to exert on it .

Not quite sure what you're trying to say there. :o

Other than that driving Makefish's new car was quite good. :P

I thought my horn was broken a couple of years ago. The Doctor said it was stress. You can buy tablets off the internet now you know.

Thankfully only the one on the car.:)

Hopefully it will be fixed today or tomorrow at the latest.
