Seat Surgeons black leather (not Nappa) with perforated back and seat panels and black stitching. Doors trims as well.

Now I really want leather seats... :S

Not going to rant mate, but just going to point it out to you... you may be driving around with invalid insurance. Its not all the do with performance, but desirability.

Custom leather seats = more desirable = more likey for a chav to steal it = slightly higher premium.

Most insurance companies require you declare ALL optional extras. You buy second hand, its your job to find the mods and declare.

Declared mine to Direct Line - they said "does it change the agreed maximum value ? If not, no problem".

But this is a good thing, as the 'light black' leather is an almost perfect match for the fascia and various plastics... texture/grain-wise too!

Personally I like a light interior - lots of the recent VAG cars look like an inside-out hearse !

But the danger is nasty marks on a light interior - I have managed to avoid this so far

i must say ive seen a fair few 're-trims' and those from this company look the business

90+% of the ones i see are not a spot on fit, usually slightly loose and basically anyone would be able to tell it didnt come out the factory like that, not with this company though it seems, really good job !

NU Direct made a note that leather seat covers and door trims had been fitted but, as they didn't increase the value of the car beyond the original purchase price, there was no increase in premium.

I've just posted lots of (well 43) pics of leather re-trims in the Group Buy thread.

I didn't post them here as they are just pics that I have saved over a few months whilst considering leather myself - there is no record of whose they are or what colours they are sorry. Some are repeats of what is already in this thread.
