Please help, a freind has a 2002 Audi A6 with the 1.9 TDI 130 BHP lump. It has started to intermitantly hesitate for a very breif moment when pulling away. It just won't pull away smoothly sometimes but most the time is fine. Did a fault code search and found the following:

Could somebody shed some light of what this is actually trying to tell us. The car is factory standard.

Errr don't think any of those relate to the engine...

Central door locking and radio issues, naff all to do with engine.

Any ideas what it could be? It's just as you accelerate at low revs it pulls then quickly cuts all power then pulls again. It's nothing to do with traction control ect.

When you put the key in the ignition the fuel pump runs but sounds like it has air in it. He says it's done this since he's had the car (approx 2 years) but the fault has only started in the last month.

It runs fine at high revs and cruising speeds. Bit baffled :confused:

He has also put a fuel cleaner through it with no result.
