Please can someone tell me if it is possible to adjust the range of the EGR valve using a similar technique to the one for the older TDI models and the Fabia 1?

If they are like the other TDi,s then you can turn them down using VAGCOM.

I've tried using VAGCOM but the login code for the ECU is disallowed. On the VAGCOM website it says this procedure will not work on a PD car. Is there another way to alter it?

Guys with the Fabia VRS have done theres and they are PD130,s.

It could be because mine has a more recent ecu - the login code of 12233 is not recognised and the "login 11" button which should be there is now called something else (I can't remember what it is off hand)
