recently joined mainly to find out more about members opinions & expertise on everything Skoda.

Bought my first Skoda Octavia 1.8TFSI Elegance in Sept 07 as a retirement present to myself.

Had to be an Octy after reading the JD Power survey.

I`ve been impressed so far with 160bhp/250nm torque.

Fuel consumption isn`t either bad if you can control the urge to plant your right foot down.

Hope to be able to contribute to the forum in the future.
