Thought i`d best say a quick hello. I`ve been a member on the forum for well over a year but have been hanging around in the back ground.

I work and live in blackpool and currently drive a pug 307 2.0 hdi. My previous 2 cars have been my first ever car when i passed was a 1.9td pug 306 which i covered 35,000 miles in within 8 months and never once let me down. Soon got bored of the 306 and for some reason headed down to the local skoda dealer which was woodheads`s at the time and was shown the fabia VRS. The minute i saw it i loved it and knew i had to have it. The test drive confirmed it and was soon handing over the bank card and signing on the dotted line.

Unfortunatly the fun in the fabia was short lived and i ended up having an accident at the top of kirkstone pass in 2 inches of snow :(. I`m sure a pic was posted up on this forum with the rear of the car sat on the wall. (corrida red fabia). Finally after 5 months of having the insurance company changing their mind on weather they were going to fix it or not, i finally got it back and luckily it fell on my birthday and was by far the best birthday present ever. After covering 37,000 miles in the fabia and constantly having a huge on my face i had to get rid as the renewal for the insurance was far to high. Traded it in and ended up with the current car being the 307. I`ve owned it just over a year and have covered just over 36,000 trouble free miles which is a suprise considering it`s french.

My plans are soon to get back into the Skoda scene and for my mates the time can`t come soon enough as all i ever talk about is Skoda`s lol.

Sorry if i`ve gone on a little too much.

Just have to say though that this is by far the best forum i`ve ever been a member of and i`ll be sticking around for a long time to come .
