Dealer thinks I may be able to take delivery as early as the 24th October, which would be great.

Anyone else taken delivery yet, or about to?

Lucky you lol I'm jealous mine is showing now as week 43 so should get it mid Nov, they have delivered one to a guy near Ipswich but he reckons it now takes half an hour longer to go any where as so many people want to talk to him about it lol.

Next time your up my way again with the new car you have to pop in and show me the stereo upgrade.

Your supplying dealer is the best person to ask. Any reason why you are reluctant to do so?

If they've done their job correctly, nobody else will be able to look up the details of you car, or it's current build progress (well, Skoda HQ can, but no other dealer will be able to).

How long does it take for Skoda UK to process the paperwork and arrange for it to be delivered to the Dealer? In other words delivery to me will be anticipated for when?

Mine is exactly the same, so best case would be about 2.5-3 weeks from now. Then you've got to allow PDI time. I'm hopeful that mine will be delivered on the 24th October, but dealer thinks I might need to allow another week on top of that.

You want to ensure that your dealer has marked the car as allocated, so that Skoda understand that this is a sold car. This should prioritise it's shipping a little bit.

You obviously don't live in Scotland the rain is pouring down and no real sign of good daylight yet

The headlights are brilliant, don't even know why you would need a full beam, feels strange when you are turning a corner, you stop turning the car but the headlights keep going.

Park Assist is the most freaky thing I have ever encountered in a car!! I tried it a few times last night and it leaves me with a big grin on my face everytime, pointing at people and going "SEE, IT DOES WORK, LOOK, LOOK!!!"

The columbus unit is also, and im refraining from using the word but, SUPERB, I love the traffic info and it is so up to date you get it there before the radio kicks in.

Seats are so comfy and much more sturdy than the old ones. Im a big guy, Im not exaggeration when I say I have to have the seat back fully on every car I drive, on this I have a full 6 inches further to go back and there is still masses of room in the back.

The drive is smooth gears are very responsive and change down quickly for more acceleration. 1st and 2nd are really good when taking off unlike a lot of cars Ive driven that tend to over rev 1st.

My mate commented last night and said "This is a 50k car that you have got" It certainly feels like a million dollars.

I love the black carpets and ivory leather, it works well with a darker coloured car, I don't think it will go as well with a light coloured car.

Anyway thats my tuppence worth for the moment. Once the rain stops I'll get some pics posted.

I'm glad someone from this forum has got one now. I'm so confident with this car that the more we have out on the roads the more it will sell.

When you do the photos make sure you get one of the ivory leather and black carpets as jcblincs will probably want to see it as that's the interior he is looking at getting.

Just heard that my car will be arriving at the dealer tomorrow, and I'll take delivery on Friday
