New to Modifying - Grateful for advise

Featured Replies

Hi i recently had my Fabia VRS remapped to approx 165bhp, i have read that it is advisable to make the most of the performance to fit a enhanced air induction kit. I am confused about this. Is this the the pd160 air intake pipe from SEAT dealers.

Also what other mod's can be done quite easily by me without specialist tools that will benefit my new improved Furby???

The search button is your friend :)

Hi

Yes I would reccomend the PD160 intake

This will allow for better air induction , also with a more freeer flowing air filter

I have the PD160 and Pipercross filter on my car and I did have fuel economy gains and also better throttle response

Then the exhaust , the decat downpipe and cat back will give some gains

I hope that gives you a bit to think about on the engine

Then the suspension , rear ARB will help with handling :D big grins all over with that

Brakes , upgrade to the 312 TT brakes

So quite a bit to choose from there

Thanks for your reply Sarah. I am definitely going to get the PD 160 intake. I have been advised to replace the filter by a friend, and they recommend the K&N one, is this as good as any or better???

Also brake wise, how much in total are you looking at for this upgrade that you mentioned (TT 225) including fitting and the ever present VAT???
