what to do?

hey all, after a lengthy discussion with the wife i have decided i will be keeping my 05 fab vrs as it will make a good first car for her when she passes her test. but for the moment im wanting to put my own touch to it

chrome bit of grill done red

and possibly a remap but even after hours of scrolling through previous posts reading up on remaps im still not sure the right route to go down,

will i need a new clutch and brakes?

how will a remap effect general running/living with it?

does it create any long standing problems?

all advice much appreciated
