to re-badge or to de-badge???

Featured Replies

do i take the "octavia and skoda"badges off the rear of the car or replace the VRS badge?i also don't like the chrome front grille too much and would either like to replace it with a black one or colour code it yellow.must emphasise that this is not through shame of owning a skoda i just like clean lines on a car and don't particulary like the font in which "octavia"is written .

it also helps when washing and waxing the car as the badges are dirt havens ;)

De-badge - IMHO of course :-)

Rob,

how did you get the front badge off?

Been thinking about doing this myself.

Cheers.

Adrian.

Rebadge IMHO

Spot the theme? :D

I would be interested to know how you remove the front badge. Ive seen a Furby vRS with a black front grill and i like it, is it a new part or just black paint? :P

The metal bit of the front badge came off so easily I thnk it was about to fall off - it's on sticky back plastic.

There's a black plastic v// shape underneath that's glued to the grille. I heated that with a hairdrier and peeled it off. It _has_ left a slight mark though.

I've rebadged mine - no piccies, but its a rebadge based on the true reflection of its current power output. (and "vRS" was too slow :P)

you can get a debagded grille from milotec... the grille replaces the standard item with a clean lined badgeless grille.

check www.vrs-designs.co.uk for pics...
