Is it normal in wet for reversing sensors to jam on

Featured Replies

I think the title says it all. Every time it rains I just get a constant steady tone when in reverse. As soon as it drys again they start working again.

The 1st years service is due soon, should I mention it or does everybody have this problem ?

Not had any issue myself, I would suggest you mention it to the dealer. Probably a poorly sealed connection.

There's a fault: most likely in a connector.

Thanks I mention it then as it seems you don't have the problem.

It is not a connection problem as when they are still wet but the rain has stopped I get the constant tone in reverse, but if I wipe them dry then all is fine. I'm only wiping the outside not the connections behind the bumper.
