Interior Lights - Odd Behaviour?

Featured Replies

Whilst driving into work this morning and stuck in traffic, I decided to reset both sides of the Climate Control to the same temp by simultaneously pressing the Auto and Econ buttons together. This set the temperature display from degrees "C" to Fahrenheit. I did not want this so pressed them again and it went back to degrees "C". Now this it where it went odd - both the front map reading lights came on! That's odd I thought as i had not used them for a few weeks. I pressed the Econ/Auto buttons again but no change to the map lights. Turned engine off and on again but the lights stay on. I turned them off by pressing the actual switch buttons next to the lights themselves. It seems that the function of these buttons is now reversed - i.e. out of on - in for off.

Any one else experience this and WHY?

Nick....(mostly confused)

No idea, but just to say that you synchronise both sides of the climate control by pressing and holding just the Auto button, not both. You probably realised that though...

Ah! Doh! I just realised that :o I was checking out the "secret settings" using the Climate Control buttons a few weeks ago and for that you press the Auto and the other button next to the one beside it (can't remember which)

So it seems i have discovered another secret button combo. Well at least I no know how to change from Degrees C to degrees F...

Still weird about the lights though
