Skoda badges

Featured Replies

Alright goreous, thanks for dropping by. ;)

Right gents (and gentettes), I'm wondering if anyone knows of replacement badges for front and rear of the Superb?

I personally don't like the stock badges. It's not the fact they have Skoda written on them, I actually do like the fact I drive a Skip, it's the design. The emblem isn't great and the colours on mine are awful. Green and pale blue on the rear. Dunno why but they just grate me.

So looking to change them. Any ideas or suggestions ... rephrase: sensible suggestions?

I know you can get a blacked version of the badges, only I have no idea of correct part numbers or whether they'd fit. Does anyone know off hand if the front and rear badges have pins, or are they purely stuck on?

Alternatively has anyone simply swapped the badges with something entirely different? If so any idea where to look. Have checked eBay and googled a few things but nothing really lept from the page at me.

Cheers in advance for the time and info.

Looking at the shape of it, a BMW badge would fit a treat :)

Just be aware, the Superb badges are NOT the same as the Fabia/Octavia, as I discovered. I have just bought a new front and rear emblem from my local dealer, at about £12 each! They are slightly bigger than the other models, which is poo lol

Didn't that "ebay bargain" that was elsewhere on the forum (in the Superb section) have some crazy badges?

EDIT: Yes, it did...

Yeah it did but let's be fair they look awful. The only chavvier thing I can think of badge-wise is if they came in Burberry. :o Like I said it's not the word Skoda I dislike, just the design isn't great, but mostly the colour. Just wondered if anyone had any experience of sourcing badges or modding them.

Cheers for the info on the different sizes Chris, that actually may stop me just ordering badges from the deal and getting wrong parts.

Hmmmmmmm the search continues.

Im sure someone on here has some black skoda stickers that replace the green with black instead:)

:+1:

:( I have changed both front and back badges on my Ocy as they weather and the tops fall off leaving a black ring ! are people finding this a common problem ? cheers - Stuart.

Get the original badges gold plated. :)

I have long looked for some 'military' skoda badges and the only ones I found in black are too small to fit the bonnet and boot on the Superb............:thumbdwn:

Be interested if anyone finds anything but I just ended up replacing mine with brand new ones..........:D

You mean like this:

It's a vinyl sticker that goes over the original badge :)

Now I LIKE that!

That black badge goes nice with the black grill

You could always stick a VW badge off a Passat..............................

I think the OEM green badge sets the car off myself, especially if you do the calipers the same colour, top marks to Skoda for being different and not simply going for a blue badge like most others do.

I like the badge - however it must be said they are of awful quality.

My Fabia is 4 years old and I just replced the rear one as it was starting to bubble, and water has got under the front one and turned half of it paler.

Go on then, name all of the manufactures that have blue badges

Ford,

BMW if you add white to it

thats me stumped.

Now if you had said "top marks to Skoda for being different and not simply going for a chrome badge like most others do." then i think most people would agree with you.
