Theres some vids on XBL showing some of the new features/enemys.. im getting quite excited about it

Oh yes, the original was the game that finally convinced me to get a 360. Even though I've played through it quie a few times, the levels in the Imulsion mines still have my eyes out on stalks every time - it's like watching a real life Hieronymus Bosch painting.

Theres lots of games to look forward to this season.. heres some i have on pre-order:

Gears2 (360)

Red Alert 3 (PC)

COD5 (PC)

Left4Dead(PC)

Need for speed undercover (360)

FarCry2 (PC)

and ill probably get the PC version of GTA4 too for the multiplayer

the good thing about most of the above is that they are co-op play

i have gears 2 on pre-order . the videos so far have looked great .Personally i would avoid gta 4 and would go for saints row 2 instead , As saints row 2 is the game gta 4 should have been and is also co-op . call of duty 5 is great its very much like cod 4 only it is during ww2 , online is every bit as good as cod 4 as it uses the same perks system and engine:thumbup:

I dunno, I think everyone should play GTA IV - it's stunning achievement with a great atmosphere and a storyline where the psychological overtones are real rather than just concerned with revenge.

I found the original Saints Row to be just embarrasing - it railroaded you too often and glorified lots of things that were just too annoying or dumb to be entertaining. After hearing 'when do I get to do some murderin'?' for the umpteenth time I gave up. The second one has a long way to go to bring me around.

GTA4 was superb!

Waiting for COD5 on PC, I just can't play FPS Shooters on a joypad thingummy. I only have driving games on the egg box and the kids lego games..... GOW looks great, I wish I could be patient rnough to get used to the controller

just bought gow1 the other day, and my god how did i miss it till now??? ive stopped playing GTA4 to have a bash at it!

i also got saints row1 for a few quid the other day off ebay, just to see if its any good. it does feel a lot like gta, but the earlier ones, bit more rampant wanton distruction

i think i'll put both down and finish gta4 first then plow into them properly.

Gears 1 is out on the PC too... with a full extra chapter and sexy high res graphics.

Its one of those games that actually does play better on the controller though.

GoW on the PC does suffer from some issues with iffy copy protection, performance issues and unexplained crashes though. That's one of the things I've always loved about consoles - just drop the game in and go

and i think thats the majority of them! funny thing is although they arent worth anything, i see more old pcs being chucked out than old consoles lol

Some of them can be - if the Vectrex is the right version and the games still have overlays, it can be worth a packet. You tend to find that the real money is in the games though.

I used to do some work for Retro Gamer magazine before the company went bust and ripped all the freelancers off, and some of the prices for rare games that people had discovered / taken advantage of were amazing. Games like Conker's Bad Fur Day for the N64 fetch a shedload of money that's out of line with the quality of the game.

ZOMG!!!!!1111 this game is amazing! - got it yesterday and have been playing thru it on and off (to try and stop me completing it in a few hours) it really is a masterpiece!
